Design: The label name is reproduced in a 'grand' size of steel-nib pen script (based on the flowing style of copper engraving), though the initial G has been shrunk down because of space limitations, and for some reason does not follow the same italic angle as the lowercase letters. The ornament at the top is well matched to the lettering, having the same thin-and-thick characteristics, and the tiny crown at the top lends an air of regality to the whole.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to firstname.lastname@example.org). Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who writes: "The letters 'Imp.' (imported?) can also be seen on the Swedish Silverton label. 'Bernard Eje' was a pseudonym used by [Swedish violinist and bandleader] Einar Groth."
