Design: The non-generic label illustrates the actual stories that are on the record, on one side the runaway pancake and on the other (presumably) the three little billy-goats crossing over a bridge, underneath which lived a grumpy old troll. The simple and colourful illustration, appealing to the children's tastes, occupies more than half the label area, but there is still room for the large number of artist credits.
History: Label scan courtesy of music researcher and collector Kjell Thorsen of Norway, who writes: "This children's record from 1938 is one of many label designs from NGK, Norsk Grammofon Kompani A/S (the Norwegian Record Company A/S -- A/S means 'Ltd.'). The recording was done in cooperation with Telefunken. "Further, the label tells that this is a record for children and includes the fairytale about the pancake that made a trip on his own, and how dangerous that can be!"
