Design: A lovely flowing brush script logo, superimposed over a line drawing of a bell.
History: An expensive, high-quality electrically-recorded product from the Edison Bell company. Thanks to John DeMetrick, who provides the following info: "The Edison Bell Electron Record shown here was manufactured in England, but the company mainly produced recordings in Hungary, Romania and Yugoslavia. The disc that you have pictured is recorded by the Marcu Orchestra, two brothers and their band that lived and recorded in Bucuresti, Romania during the 1920s." Thanks also to musicologist and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K., who notes that this recording was made in London in March 1931. Label scan courtesy of collector Jukka Kettunen of Finland.
