Design: Trumpet-blowing heralds stand on ornamented brackets above a line of very well-drawn Gothic lettering, entirely appropriate images for the label name. The Victoriana bracketing separating the upper and lower segments is similar to that used on the earlier Guardsman label, among others. A screen in the background of the upper segment gives effective variety to the single colour printing.
History: Launched in 1928 and sold through Sears Roebuck chainstores until 1942.
