Design: Label borders are generally simple (circle, square, hexagon), but this stylized, curlicue-laden design takes complexity to new levels. The lettering used for the main name marks a departure from the fat-faced variety Victor used for many years, to a caps-and-small-caps book face close in weight to the border.
History: This 'scroll' design was used from 1926 to 1937.
