Design: A single-colour rendition of the full-colour original design, probably in an attempt to reduce production costs.
History: Launched in 1904, Syrena ('Sirena') lasted until 1939. Its manufacturing plant located in Warsaw, it was widely distributed across Europe. After Poland lost its identity in 1795, its status as an independent republic was restored after the repartitioning of Europe in 1918; after WWII it became a satellite of the USSR but again regained its autonomy in the late 1980s.
