Design: At the centre is a curious picture of a lion sprawled out on a picnic-cloth listening to a portable phonograph, the rays of the setting sun forming the background. The label name, with an unusual trumpet-shaped underlining swash follows an outer arc in the old-fashioned way. The word 'Record' also reappears, in a Victorian-era typeface.
History: Launched in 1926 by the Homophone company, which had German origins, and lasting until 1935.
