Design: The fonts used here are very old-fashioned, being from the late 1890s and early 1900s, and all are in small sizes, suggesting that the letterpress printer had a) no display fonts at his disposal and b) had very little idea about design and typesetting, as suggested by the lines in which all the words are connected by hyphens.

History: For some years in the 1920s, impresario Al Greenstone owned a theatre in central New York City, and this label was evidently a private pressing of his, being sold in his theatre's foyer. Label scan courtesy of collector Owen Burgess of Canada.
