Design: There is a uniformity of approach to all Grey Gull designs, even though the graphics are quite different: thick gold borders, white-outlined type, and a small logo contained within its own panel. The influence of Art Deco can be seen here in the masculine, machine-cut quality of the border, as compared to the feminine, Victorian-era decoration to be seen on the earlier Radiex label.
History: The Radiex label would disappear in 1930 with the bankruptcy of Grey Gull, the parent company.
