Design: A pigmy is usually understood to be a human of small stature; the illustration here shows a winged fairy, which pertains to the realm of spirits. She appears to be enjoying the music issuing from a miniature wind-up gramophone, sitting on a toadstool. The lettering and label name are well integrated, occupying exactly half the label area.

History: A 5 1/2 inch record made by the Crystalate company, manufacturer of Imperial records. Label scan courtesy ofmusic researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K.
