Design: The logo of a 'pound sterling' sign (a symbol appropriated by Carl Lindström as the initial of his name) superimposed on the morning-glory horn phonograph is retained from pre-WWI years.

History: Parlophone was owned by Carl Lindström, a Swedish businessman living in Germany with international interests under the Fonotipia umbrella.
