Design: Some effort has been put into making stylish hand-crafted letters for the label name, which carried more weight along the horizontals, and have curving lines reminiscent of the Art Nouveau fashion of the late 1890s. The NW logo on the left uses historiated forms and a format popular in the Edwardian era (early 1900s).
History: Ned Wayburn (1874 - 1942) was an American choreographer who had great success presenting a wide variety of dance steps on stage. His studio address appears at the foot, which is probably the main outlet where his records were sold. Label scan courtesy of collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K.
