Design: A fine piece of lettering for the label name, which makes the best use of available space on this small-size label.

History: Manufactured by the Crystalate company and launched at the same time as the Little Marvel records for sale in Woolworth's dime store chain in the U.K., with the intent of creating competition with each other and to prove to owner Fred Woolworth that records would be a profitable item to stock (both lines were highly successful). Label scan courtesy of jazzologist and collector Dave Dixon of Canada.
