Design: The label name, lettered in a whimsical curvilinear block-serif style, follows the outer curve, in the old-fashioned manner. The stylized 'h' above the spindle hole seems to suggest a factory with a tall chimney.

History: Founded in 1905 in Berlin, Germany. The label name here is spelled with a 'c' instead of a 'k' (see earlier label). Label scan above courtesy of collector Jukka Kettunen of Finland. Alternate scan (below) courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who notes: "This 1927 record is one of a special series called 'Funkheinzelmann-Märchen' (freely translated as 'broadcast pixie fairy tale'), all written and narrated by the director of the North German Broadcast, Norddeutscher Rundfunk, Hans Bodenstedt (1887-1958, pictured)."
