Design: A delightful picture of 'Mistress' Mary watering her garden of cockle-shells (and on the reverse side, Humpty Dumpty on the wall), in the style of the popular illustrator Arthur Rackham (1867-1939).

History: Emil Berliner founded the Berliner Gram-O-Phone company in Montreal in 1900, which featured the name 'His Master's Voice' on the label. Victor acquired Berliner's Canadian-based company in 1924, operating it as a subsidiary from then on.
