Design: he banner containing the label name is a strikingly effective piece of graphics, with the lettering itself having unusual inverted serifs, which add some visual 'sparkle.' The stroboscopic border is done in a neat, unobtrusive fashion.
History: Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who writes: "The Goldora Record label was one of several launched by Hermann Eisner of Berlin. According to Horst H. Lange (author of Die deutsche 78er Diskographie der Hot Dance und Jazz-Musik 1903-1958), the label was active from 1926 to 1927, but the Goldora records in my collection are all dated 1925 on the matrix and are acoustic recordings. Only a guess, but I assume that Eisner has recycled elder Artiphon matrices on Goldora, with anonymized artists. The Goldora shown here was recorded March 25, 1925."
