Design: A decline in overall quality is noticeable from the previous labels; the lilac background colour has been changed to a hot red, while the decoration has been simplified into vague blobs. The label name has been greatly reduced in size, with the slogan 'unbreakable' being kept larger.
History: Launched in late 1925, the Duophone label survived until early 1930. It was marketed in combination with the Duophone phonograph, which featured a twin sound reproducer for increased volume. Label scan courtesy of collector Graham Farnell of the U.K.
