Design: The song title, 'La Yava,' is set in a great 'wild west' slab-serif font (c. 1880), which is in stark contrast with the condensed lettering in the upper segment. The banner containing the words 'Orquesta Yribarren' is realistic-looking, while the three stripes either side of the over-arching label name represent the same device treated in a stylized, abstract manner.

History: According to collector Martín Javier Gorosito of Argentina, who supplied this image, the Disco Electra label was founded by Alfredo Améndola in 1922, and lasted approximately until 1931. This first version of the label remained unchanged until 1926.
