Design: The plain, unadorned label, which is well arranged and balanced, uses variations of the printer's workhorse typeface, Cheltenham, in regular and bold condensed weights.

History: The widespread use of electrical power was making a huge impact on the lives of populations in urban, suburban and even rural areas in Europe and North America at this time, bringing unprecedented changes. Indoor lighting, heating, communication by way of radio and telephone elevated the standard of living for millions. This record was a private pressing distributed to company salesmen urging them "to a man" to achieve higher sales figures, but the company president's unbridled optimism in limitless business opportunity would no doubt soon be shaken by the aftershocks of the Great Depression.
