Design: The artwork is identical to that seen on the Royal label, except that the spaces between the lines in the background have been filled in to make the lines heavier and the initials CMLL have been inserted in the diagonal 'bend' in the mini-shield at the top; the corporate name at the foot has also been changed, but the Compo company's address remains. The dark blue and gold colour combination is standard for Compo productions.

History: Unknown (have info? Please send to info.re.78s@shaw.ca). Evidently manufactured by Compo, the company started by Herbert Berliner, son of phonograph record pioneer Emile, whose operations had begun in 1921. Label scan courtesy of collector Dave Dixon of Canada.
