Design: The design shows echoes of the Art Nouveau movement with its rounded corners and delicate organic decoration. A strong and well-balanced symmetrical layout.
History: According to Sutton & Nauck (American Record Labels and Companies), United Record, based in Chicago, was in business from 1909 to 1916, the records being manufactured for them by Columbia, and featured a non-standard (1 1/2 inch) spindle hole.
