Design: The centre 'strap' is similar in concept to other German labels (see the previous label). The font used for imprinting is of the 'Jugenstil' variety, a German variation of the Art Nouveau fashion which had emerged in France in the late 1890s and influenced the Gothic style which was commonly used in Germany. It featured curvilinear lines and a high-waisted capitals (as in the cap K).
