Design: The label name, following the early practice of running round the outer edge, also has a period at the end, an indication that the record belongs to the early part of the twentieth century; Jack Charman was a very popular music-hall entertainer in the pre-WWI period. A red and gold colour combination is not always the most legible.
History: Unknown (have info? Please send to email@example.com). Label scan courtesy of collector Greg Butler of the U.K.
