Design: Stylistic hints of the Victoriana/Art Nouveau era linger in the flowing, organic lettering and ornamentation. The typographic treeatment of the song title, with the inverted quotation marks, is in the style employed in continental Europe; the rubber-stamped 'Pressed Abroad' would also suggest an European (perhaps German?) provenance, likely around the time of WWI (with feelings of patriotism running high at that time, to advertise a product as having been 'Made in Germany' would be to invite strong disapprobation).
