Design: Here the eagle image is reproduced in line work, but the printing of a light colour on a dark background makes it appear in negative form.

History: Nipponophone had its beginnings in 1910 as the manufacturer of the first Japanese-made phonograph. In 1925, Nipponophone became affiliated with Columbia, which eventually become part of EMI. Nipponophone also produced the Orient Record (right).
