Design: Rounded corners to all the elements here, including the 'GB' logo. The silver on orange colour combination, due to the similarity of hue, does not make for very high contrast; any smaller type sizes would have been unreadable.

History: Label scan courtesy of collector Georg Richter of Germany, who notes: "I have learned that the Melodia Record Platte label name was registered in 1913 by the company Georg Bernhardt, Inh. Max Biering in Leizig who basically manufactured wind-up gramophones (so the mystery about the GB logo is solved: GB = Georg Bernhardt!) Their records was first ordered to be pressed by Lindström (and others), and later by the ISI factory."
