Design: The label name refers to the ancient name for the city of Paris, and shows the heraldic crest of the same city. The organic decoration around the outside shows Art Nouveau/late Victorian elements, while the label name, lettered in a pseudo-Gothic and featuring an ornamented initial with an underlining swash, also has an historical feel. The purple and gold colour combination suggests a connection with royalty.

History: Unknown. Label scan courtesy of collector Mike Lambert of the U.K.
