Design: As the Favorite label from Brazil, but without gold outlining to the red stripes. The city of Constantinople (named after the emperor Constantine the Great) became known as Istanbul as far back as 1453, but the official name change did not take place until 1930, following the secularization process begun by Turkey's leader Kemal Ataturk. Even so, it continued to be called Constantinople by Westerners for some years afterward.
History: As previous. Label scan courtesy of collector Ken Hagelthorn of the U.S.A.
