Design: Featuring a candle-lit Christmas tree, a reminder of the time when live candles (!) were attached to Christmas trees in homes, a highly dangerous practice. The practice of bringing Christmas trees into homes was begun in Germany in medieval times and had its beginnings as a pagan ritual.

History: As previous. Label scan courtesy of collector Klaas Vonk of The Netherlands.
