Design: In the label name, the word 'Master' is enlarged, while the words 'Nicole Record' are reduced to a very small size. A decorative floral outer border is introduced. To make room for the heading, the globe on which the eagle perches is now dropped down and centred on the spindle hole.
History: Manufactured in celluloid and laminated to a cardboard base, this very early line of 7 inch records was made by Nicole Frères of London, music-box manufacturers since 1815. The company ceased production before WWI. Label scan courtesy of music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K.
