Design: The image of a bird with outstretched wings atop a globe can be seen on other labels, such as Paramount (right). The design is well organized, though there were obvious unresolved techical problems in printing on celluloid, a non-absorbent material.
History: Manufactured in celluloid and laminated to a cardboard base, this very early line of 7 inch records was made by Nicole Frères of London, music-box manufacturers since 1815.
