Design: A charmingly na´ve design featuring late Victorian 'historical' lettering styles, with dots and curlicues. Due to an optical illusion, the logo baseline appear to curve upward at each end, when in fact it runs straight across. The song title is typeset in Bookman, an American-designed font that appeared around the turn of the century and became hugely popular on both sides of the Atlantic.
History: According to music researcher and collector Bill Dean-Myatt of the U.K., who supplied this scan, the 'Musone Process,' invented by a Mr. Percy Packham, utilized a 'U'-shaped vertical-cut groove and played for over five minutes.
