Design: The standard early-era semicircular shape for the label name is followed here, with a mix of sans serif, stub serif and roman fonts for the imprinting, over a plain background.

History: The Zon-O-Phone company was founded around 1898 by Frank Seaman, a one-time employee of Harold Berliner, and represented in Brazil by the Edison company. Label scan courtesy of Miguel Angelo de Azevedo of Brazil, who notes that this 7 inch record was recorded by the Edison company's 'house' orchestra.
