Design: In this remarkable design, a naked sculptor in a walled garden puts the finishing touch on a giant statue of the Artephon record by chiselling out the last letter of its name, thus establishing its place among the pantheon of gods and goddesses of the 'classical' era (one of which is physically supporting his artistic efforts). The label name runs around the foot, rather than the more usual placement at the top of the upper segment, and is fashioned from a continuous flowing ribbon wrapped around a thorny branch, a treatment which is not at all 'classical,' but more typical of the typographic doodlings of the Victorian age.
