Design: The treatment is Victorian in style, the separate panels being outlined by thin borders made of organic tendrils, and the label name being lettered in unusual perspective fashion. Centred in the upper segment is an elaborate bejewelled heraldic arrangement (with 'western' weaponry), with the 'eastern' crescent moon and star of Islam overhead, and the blood-red national flag of Turkey. For reasons of self-interest, Germany and Turkey had long had political and economic ties (of which the record industry was but one facet), but neither the Ottoman or the Austro-Hungarian empires would survive following WWI.
